Suspended 4th

This chord is formed by adding the 4th note of the scale to the major chord or by moving the 10th note (3rd note) by one fret higher. It is often written with sus or sus4 after the key like Asus, Asus4, Dsus, Gsus4 and etc.

7th Suspended 4th

This chord is formed by adding the 4th note of the scale to the dominant 7th chord. It is often written with 7sus or 7sus4 after the key like A7sus, D7sus4, Fsus and etc.
